To help reduce shipping costs for our international customers we offer the option of purchasing our wind generators either with or without the tail piece. The tail piece ships in a seperate package from the wind generator. By building the tail piece yourself you can reduce the cost of shipping. We send instructions to build the tail if you purchase the wind generator without it.

If you live in an area that has a lot of rain, snow or has salt air we recommend having the stator and rotor in the wind generator weather coated for added protection.

Check local codes and insurance requirements before purchasing items for your off grid power system. Most off grid items are not UL listed. If you need items that are UL listed to satisfy local requirements please contact us so that we can help you to locate the proper items.
